Small Channel Steel Shaking Table | Gravity Separation Equipment
The Small Channel Steel Shaking Table is a 6-S series gravity separation equipment that separates mixed slurry into concentrate, middlings, and tailings based on mineral specific gravity differences. It delivers high separation precision and can simultaneously produce multiple products in a single pass.
Main Applications
Used for separating rare and precious metals such as tungsten, tin, tantalum, niobium, and gold, as well as ferrous metals including iron and manganese, and coal. It can be applied to roughing, cleaning, and scavenging operations. Effective recovery particle size ranges from 2 to 0.02 mm.
Working Principle
Slurry is fed onto the inclined deck surface. Under the combined action of transverse washing water and differential reciprocating motion of the deck (slow forward, quick backward), minerals of different specific gravities form distinct fan-shaped zones on the deck—heavy minerals move longitudinally toward the concentrate end, while light minerals are discharged laterally with the water flow.
Structural Features
The frame is constructed with channel steel and requires concrete pouring with embedded anchor bolts for installation. It is designed for fixed-site operations. The deck is available in two materials—fiberglass and wood. The fiberglass deck offers advantages including high strength, dimensional stability, corrosion resistance, and non-absorbent properties, and has gradually replaced traditional wooden decks.
Small Channel Steel Shaking Table Main Technical Parameters
Parameter Notes:
Separation Area: Refers to the effective area on the deck that is actually involved in mineral separation, not the total deck surface area. The larger this value, the greater the processing capacity of a single unit.
Feed Size: "Coarse Sand" refers to coarse-grained material with a maximum particle size not exceeding 2mm; "Slime" refers to fine-grained material with a maximum particle size not exceeding 0.074mm (74 microns, equivalent to 200 mesh). The same shaking table can process different particle sizes by adjusting operating parameters.
Transverse Slope: Adjustable from 0° to 10°.
Motor Speed: 1400 rpm.
Effective Recovery Particle Size Range: 2~0.02mm.
Deck Material: All models feature fiberglass deck construction.
Installation Method: Requires simple concrete pouring with embedded anchor bolts for fixation, suitable for fixed-site operations.
