What are the operating factors of the beneficiation equipment Jig?

The stroke and stroke times of jig in mineral processing equipment are one of the important factors affecting the separation index. Because the stroke and stroke times determine the speed and acceleration of the water flow, it directly affects the loose and stratified state of the bed and the effect of the water flow on the ore particles, so as to affect the sorting effect. Generally, larger strokes and smaller strokes can be used when the sorting size is coarse, the density is large, the processing capacity is large, and the amount of water added under the screen is small. When the particle size is small and the bed is thin, it is appropriate to use smaller strokes and larger strokes.

Add water under the screen; Sieve water can increase the dispersion of the bed and reduce the intensity of suction. When selecting a wide grade material, the water under the screen should be smaller, which can reduce the rising water speed and avoid the large density of fine grained materials being washed into the overflow. When the coarse material of narrow grade is selected, the amount of water under the sieve can be appropriately increased to make the bed loose.

Bed thickness: The bed can be divided into three layers: upper, middle and lower. The uppermost layer is the light mineral flow layer, the lowest layer is the heavy mineral settlement layer, and the middle layer is the intergrowth or transition layer. The thickness of the bed layer directly affects the quality and recovery rate of the jig product equipment, and the bed layer can be thinner by increasing the processing capacity. When the quality requirements of concentrate are improved, the bed layer should also be thicker, because the thick bed particles are difficult to pass, the stratification time is long, and the quality of heavy products is high. When dealing with fine grained materials and discharging ore under the screen, it is necessary to lay an artificial bed on the screen. Feed concentration is one of the factors that determine the horizontal flow velocity of the selected material in the jigging process. The appropriate concentration of ore feed is generally 20% to 40% of the capacity, in general, should be in the premise of ensuring concentrate grade and yield, as far as possible to increase the capacity. However, when the processing capacity exceeds a certain range, it will increase the loss of useful minerals in the tailings, and when the concentrate taste requirements are high, the processing capacity should be relatively reduced.
The impact of ore properties, ore properties for jig equipment beneficiation, the most important is the density composition and particle size composition The density composition of ore determines the selectivity of the material, the greater the density difference between light and heavy minerals, the higher the sorting efficiency. The particle size composition of the feed ore determines the properties of the bed, the resistance of water passing through the bed, and the size of the void between the particles. It has a great influence on the looseness and layering of the bed. Screening is generally used before jigging.
