The sorting core of Mingxin Shaking Table lies in enabling materials with different characteristics to complete the precise separation of stratification - migration - zoning on the bed surface. Slurry prepared to an appropriate concentration enters from the feeding trough at the high end of the bed surface. Driven by the transmission mechanism, the bed surface performs an asymmetric reciprocating motion, and at the same time, the transverse flushing tank continuously injects water to form a thin water film. Under the dual action of vibration and water flow, particles in the slurry are quickly loosened and stratified: valuable particles with high specific gravity such as metals settle to the bottom layer of the bed surface and are in close contact with it; light non-metallic particles with low specific gravity float on the upper layer.
The asymmetric vibration of the bed surface provides longitudinal power for the heavy particles at the bottom layer, making them move slowly along the bed surface to the concentrate end on the uphill side; the light particles on the upper layer are dominated by the scouring force of the transverse water flow and discharge to the tailings end along the transverse inclination of the bed surface. Materials with different specific gravity and particle size form a clear fan-shaped zoning on the bed surface, and concentrate, middling and tailings are accurately discharged from different outlets. Valuable materials can be enriched and impurities separated in a single operation.
