The rotary drum screen is a conventional grading device that screens materials through the rotation of its drum. It features a simple structure and stable operation, widely used for particle classification and impurity removal in sand, ore, coal, grain, construction waste recycling and other industries.
The equipment mainly consists of a frame, drum, transmission device, supporting wheels and other components. During operation, the motor drives the drum to rotate slowly. Materials enter from one end, tumble and move inside the drum, and are screened through the mesh on the drum wall. Fine materials pass through the screen openings and are discharged, while coarse materials are output from the other end, ensuring a continuous and smooth process with easy operation.
The rotary drum screen has outstanding practical advantages: sturdy structure, low failure rate, suitable for long-term continuous operation; easy screen replacement, with flexible adjustment according to particle size; low running noise and controllable dust, friendly to the working environment; simple maintenance and few wearing parts, effectively reducing long-term operating costs.
In actual production, it can adapt to various working conditions. Whether for moist and viscous materials or mixed materials with large particle differences, it can complete screening stably, making it a practical device to improve material purity and ensure the efficiency of subsequent processes in production lines.
