Recently, our production line was upgraded, and we got to know many domestic sorting equipment. After two months of adjustments to the Jiangxi Mingxin system, we finally got the hang of it. Since the information is still fresh in my mind, I’ll organize it into notes to share with industry peers. **Equipment Positioning** The Mingxin system focuses on medium- and high-speed sorting scenarios. In our testing, the speed ranges from 8 to 12K/h (depending on component specifications). Its positioning is clear: replacing mid-range imported models. For a contract manufacturer like us with a monthly production capacity of 500K, its cost-performance ratio is truly outstanding. **Key Highlights** 1. **Test Station Design**: It adopts a turntable architecture with 16 parallel workstations, saving 30% of the floor space compared to traditional linear designs. The most surprising feature is its "dynamic compensation algorithm," which automatically corrects positioning deviations caused by mechanical wear. After two weeks of continuous operation, the accuracy drift was less than 0.02mm. 2. **Sorting Precision**: The repeatability of resistor grades reaches 0.5%, and capacitor sorting can accurately detect down to 0.1pF. In our tests, the 0805-packaged 100nF capacitors showed better sorting consistency than certain Japanese brands. 3. **Changeover Time**: Specification switching takes about 40 minutes, which is about 15 minutes faster than the industry average. Crucially, no engineers are needed—ordinary technicians can complete the process according to SOP guidelines, making it ideal for small-batch orders. **Potential Drawbacks** - The software interface has a "industrial style" design, which isn’t as flashy as imported brands, but it’s clear and easy to grasp after a week of practice. - The noise control of the vibration tray is average. A separate soundproofing enclosure is recommended. - In rare cases, the electrostatic elimination module requires manual calibration. **Cost Comparison** Similar-performance imported equipment typically costs 800,000–1.2 million RMB, while the Mingxin system costs around 450,000–550,000 RMB (depending on configuration). We calculated that the payback period for capacity ramp-up would be about 8 months. **Applicable Scenarios** Medium-sized contract manufacturers with a monthly production capacity of 300K–1K Enterprises with high proportions of multi-spec, small-batch orders Projects requiring high equipment stability but with limited budgets **Avoid Pitfalls** 1. **Before signing the contract, conduct on-site testing with actual materials**: The compatibility of different material tapes varies significantly. 2. **It’s recommended to add a visual reinspection module**: Though it costs an extra 30,000 RMB, it significantly reduces customer complaints. 3. **Training should be thorough**: The 3-day training provided by the manufacturer is far from sufficient. A week-long on-site training is ideal. **Summary** The Jiangxi Mingxin system is a "pragmatic choice," with no flashy features but solid core performance. If your production line is undergoing domestic replacement and your technical team has debugging capabilities, this system is worth considering. After all, saving hundreds of thousands of RMB could fund several months’ worth of year-end bonuses. (The above is based on our company’s actual usage experience. Specific parameters refer to the manufacturer’s latest documentation.)
