In the mineral processing industry, the 6S shaking table developed by Jiangxi Mingxin has become a core equipment for gravity mineral processing of fine-grained materials, thanks to its outstanding process. Its process is widely applied in the separation of various minerals such as tin, tungsten, gold, silver, lead, zinc, tantalum, niobium, iron, manganese, ilmenite and coal, demonstrating strong applicability.
The core of the 6S shaking table process lies in its complex yet sophisticated separation flow. Ore particles enter through the feed chute at the upper corner of the table surface, and at the same time, the water tank provides transverse flushing water. Under the combined action of the transverse water flow impact force, gravity, as well as the friction force and inertia generated by the reciprocating asymmetric movement of the table surface, the ore particle group begins to stratify according to specific gravity and particle size. Ore particles with higher specific gravity have a faster sedimentation speed and gradually concentrate in the lower layer, close to the table surface; while those with lower specific gravity float in the upper layer. Under the comprehensive influence of the longitudinal and transverse movements of the table surface, ore particles with different specific gravities and particle sizes move along their unique trajectories and spread in a fan shape from the feed point. Finally, high-specific-gravity concentrates, the most valuable mineral part, are discharged from the concentrate end; intermediate products, mostly low-density aggregates or intermediate materials, are discharged sequentially from the middle area; and low-density gangue tailings washed out by the water flow are discharged from the edge of the tailing side. By accurately adjusting parameters such as water flushing volume, table surface inclination angle, vibration stroke and frequency, and feed concentration, the 6S shaking table can achieve an ideal zoning effect according to the properties of different ores and reach the optimal separation accuracy.
From the perspective of equipment composition, the 6S shaking table is mainly composed of eight key parts: the table head, motor, slope adjuster, table surface, ore chute, water tank, riffles and lubrication system. The longitudinal reciprocating movement of the table surface is realized by a crank-link transmission mechanism. The motor drives the large pulley through a belt, which in turn makes the crankshaft rotate, and the rocker moves up and down accordingly. When the rocker moves downward, the toggle plate pushes the rear axle and the reciprocating rod to move backward, and the spring compresses, making the table surface move backward; when the rocker moves upward, the spring expands to push the table surface forward. The table surface moves forward from slow to fast and backward from fast to slow, and the formed differential motion ensures that the materials move forward and complete the specific gravity separation. There are two types of table surfaces: lacquer-ash grooved table surfaces and rubber table surfaces. The former is used for separating fine slime, and the latter is used for separating coarse ore. The longitudinal slope of the table surface can be adjusted through the bolts on the support mechanism, and the transverse slope is adjusted by the slope adjuster, so as to meet the separation needs of minerals with different particle sizes and specific gravities.
