As the magnetic drum rotates, the alternating magnetic poles form magnetic stirring, and the mixed non-magnetic impurities fall off naturally during tumbling to further improve separation purity. When the magnetic agglomerates rotate with the magnetic drum to the area with the weakest magnetic force at the edge of the magnetic system, the concentrate with high purity is collected after ore discharge by flushing water or brush rolls; non-magnetic and weak magnetic materials are discharged with slurry or air flow, completing the whole separation process.
