Meanwhile, horizontal slurry pumps have a large flow rate and a wide head range, meeting the demand for long-distance conveying of large-flow slurry in mines. They can be efficiently adapted to tailings conveying in fixed stations and ground concentrators, and are a classic choice for conventional solid-liquid conveying in mines.
Both types of slurry pumps use wear-resistant materials such as high-chromium alloy to make flow-passing parts, which can resist the scouring and wear of high-concentration slurry and adapt to the conveying medium with high solid content and coarse particles in mines. Mining selection only needs to focus on the site: choose vertical for narrow space and submersible slag pumping, and choose horizontal for pursuing large flow rate, easy maintenance and fixed station operation.
